"Living in Tyr on Five Bits a Day" is the title I gave to my table-top Dark Sun campaign, which I ran every other Saturday for nearly a year. The players arrived around 6 o'clock in the afternoon, and the games generally lasted between six and seven hours each. I started the game on February 28th, 1998, with three players. On April 11th, 1998, a new PC was introduced, and that brought the total number of players to four.

This page is dedicated to those players, and any others who might come along at a later time. "Living in Tyr ..." is their story. Without their time, effort, and enthusiasm, this game would never have been realized. Take the time to read their journals, to look over their characters, and enjoy what they've worked so hard to create.

In addition to the character information presented here, I've also taken the liberty to include the house rules we use. Most of these rules are guidelines, and one or two have yet to be tested in the actual game. However, I'm confident that they work, and I invite you to try them out in your own games. We'll also be updating the page on a regular basis, including anything else that we feel merits your attention. These updates will include original Dark Sun-related articles written by myself and my players.

It's been asked (and maybe you're wondering) if this game is run in email, either in whole or in part. The answer is "not yet." I am planning an email campaign, but at present there is only one player involved and I'm not taking on any others. This may change in the future, and if it does I'll be sure to post it here for all interested parties.

So sit back, take a look around, and enjoy what we have to offer. Feel free to write to us and let us know what you think. Your ideas, criticisms, and questions are important.
