13th Day of Morde

Last eve the dealings of Merow formerly of the Guard became apparent. He did falsely accuse citizens of crimes not committed and did take the orkin child by force killing several in the doing. A signed confession was taken by Vo Denarti that Jayden had done no crime against the crown or empire. Through scrying it was found that he had dealings with orcs in Never-Upon-Vinre with the child taken from the Abbey while under the protection of the Abbot. The full extent of the dealings be unknown at this time. In addition, to guards who have yet to be paid the paymasters pouch has yet to be found it is currently thought that Merow may have taken it with him.

Note to Master Builder: It would appear that something be wrong with the pulleys for the baskets crossing the River at Kemstead. These should be inspected as last eve they did nae appear to be working properly.

Another matter of note. The weapons trader Arkron or such seems to be attacking guardsman as he did attack Guardsman Tracker and reportedly killed Guardsman Valorian. This information was imparted to me by the guardsmen themselves.
