To whom it may concern,
The one known as Jayden is not a traitor to Kaezar, he has done nothing but his
duty as he saw it.
I, Merow Ghurak, formerly sergeant of the Imperial Guard, attest to his
innocence. At no point did he try to plot against Vek's life. This was a lie,
made up by the author of this letter.
I apologize for what I have done, but it had to be done.

People of Kaezar, this should disgust you. What this says is quite clear. Merow is a traitor. He's a liar. Backstabber, backbiter, and will use the name of the Imperial Guard to get what he himself selfishly desires. Be careful whom you trust for this attests that even the well respected those of high status succumb to treachery, foolishness, betrayal that knocks on heart's door. Merow has devastated many lives. Wrongful accusations, wrongful imprisonments, kidnapping, forgery, are just the tip of the iceberg. No one's social status implies their heart's intentions for their fellow guardsmen or citizens. However since Merow sugar coated it some of you are deceived. You walk blindly to that which is so clear. The outrageous and unforgiveable actions that have led up to the point of the the writing of this note should never be tolerated. This letter was given to me by Merow Ghurak, formerly Sergeant of the Imperial Guard. What an embarrasment, what a fool.

I know you're asking yourself, what was his aim? Many of you do not know where to stand on this contraversy

Jayden, and any other victims of Merow's ruthlessness, Maliku too, I apologize on behalf of the guard for the unnessecary force and abuse of power that was commited against you by Merow Ghurak.
On a personal note I've been praying for your quick release from prison, Maliku.
Jayden I too pray for your swift return from the accusations of treachery that have shamed your name forcing you to flee Kaezar. I pray you have not journeyed so far that you wish not to come back, and I pray you are in good health. Be safe, and return to Kaezar as the man you were, do not let your heart harden for the account of such men as Merow, that you should not want to return to us. Some won't betray you as he did. I won't.

And Kahund, my condolences. Your lost 'son', one you cared for so much...one that was nothing but pawn in Merow's game...but so much more to you and some others.
